According to my Hal Higdon and Jeff Galloway readings, I am on Day 3 of Half Marathon Training. The first two days were just to be out for 30 minutes. I had managed to do that with the help of my loveable dog, Donovan. Including some dog obstacle courses post-Hurrican Irene.
Amanda and I set out for our three miles this evening. But, it was only about 2 that we ended up finishing. At least according to U.S. Track and Field Map it. But, the streets of Timonium are a bit squiggly ways, so maybe it lost some mileage with my drawing. I normally would have worn my pedometer, but the batteries were dead.
I have my first soccer game tommorrow, so I'll be running for 30 minutes anyway.
Has anyone used US Track and FIeld? Do you love it?

Welcome!
I, Lauren, along with my trusting walking/running partner/sister, Amanda have registered for the Walt Disney Half Marathon in January 2012. While, Amanda and I are known for our hair brained schemes, this may be a new one.
This blog is an attempt to chronicle my love of Disney and possibly my new love of exercise.
So to end this first post, some advice from Finding Nemo, "Just keep swimming."
